People & small organizations tackling
poverty and unemployment need support. They need access to
training, skills and capital to stand on their own feet.
Co-Operation for Development was founded as
a charity back in 1983, along with its Limited Company, CDI Ltd.
The charity combines two primary objectives:
-

world poverty, hunger and ill-health
-
Drawing attentions to the causes and

To make this happen, Co-Operation for
Development emphasizes appropriate training and the transfer of
basic management and financial skills through:
-
Supporting creative development
projects
-
Training development administrators
-
Mobilizing financial resources
-
Transferring "administrative and
financial technology"
-
Improving NGO management capacity
-
Servicing global NGO networks
-
Advising on appropriate health care
-
Providing emergency aid for refugees
and displaced persons
-
Encouraging education and support
activities in the North
