Dear Sir/Madam,
We would like to invite you to participate in our workshop with the title that we have already mentioned above, that held by Co-operation for Development (Europe) together with Indonesia Renewable Energy Society (METI) and sponsored by Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES) Japan.
This workshop will discuss about Indonesia’s potencies to expand and produce First and Second Generation of Biofuel as an alternative energy which is effectively able to substitute fossil fuel in the future. The topics that will be discussed in this workshop is including ideas/issues or applied research proposal about many strategic aspects in chain of Biofuel link.
Each workshop participant is asked to propose ideas or concrete suggestions as mentioned above in a form of Power Point Presentation according to the topic or the subject chosen (please look at the attachment), referring to physical potencies, social-economy, environment impact, legislation, as well as government policies, and presenting it in Panel Discussion Section headed by Moderator.
In consideration of the limited of time, we will limit the participants for maximum 30 person/organization/institution who able to propose those ideas or concrete suggestions above.
All of the presentation/paper presented will be taken into action by the Host, cooperate with competent institutions locally or internationally, to determine if those ideas or suggestions can be implemented through liable process, so they will be able to get proper financial support from competent local or international institutions.
To register as a workshop participant, we wish you to fill the form that we attach together with this letter and deliver it to the Host Secretariat on the address in the form at the latest of January 23rd, 2009, and the presentation/paper that will be presented must be accepted by the Host at the latest of January 31st, 2009 in an electronic format (soft copy).
We are hoping your participation in this strategic workshop and we hope those participation can give valuable contribution to the efforts that support national energy policies effectively, sustainable and resistant.
